Toy room storage and other ideas ...

Oh my gosh!  It's been a week since my last post ... where does the time go?  For those of you that don't know me, I work part-time at a hospital and as such as I see myself like this

I am actually more like this!

I have worked in healthcare for such a long time now that I feel that I am "almost" qualified to treat patients.  Oh well, I'm equally as good at the customer service side of things!

Anyway, this explains some of my recent absence as I have picked up some extra shifts this week in addition to my normal weekend roster.

Back to this Post.  I am always interested in natty ways of storing 'things' that are practical but also have a sense of style and fun.  This led to my discovery of some storage ideas ... mainly based around the use of pots, baskets, shelving and containers in various colours.  Nothing new I know, but I like these ideas!  They are an effective and inexpensive way of keeping things fun ... as well as keeping things tidy.

Colourful storage solutions combined with shelving units

I love these cloth tubs!

But I REALLY LOVE these oilcloth tubs!

For those of us in Adelaide, the Blue Oilcloth looks very similar (if not exactly the same) as the Marimekko oilcloth that can be found at Market Import on King William Rd, Hyde Park.  Hmmmm, maybe I'll have to extend my Ollieboll range to include Oilcloth tubs!  I know a few friends that would be VERY interested ... watch this space ...

Finally, here are some quirky ideas.  Not necessarily my taste but interesting none-the-less!

Anyone for lego storage??

One lump or two?

Do you have any other tips that you'd like to share to inspire others??
